Controls for CardioChek PA

Most tests on the CardioChek PA only require Multi-Chemistry Controls. But, tests that include HDL cholesterol require both Multi-Chemistry and HDL Cholesterol Controls. 

HDL Cholesterol Controls

For use with CardioChek PA, in addition to Multi-Chemistry Controls, when using Lipid Panel, CHOL+HDL+GLU, or CHOL+HDL test strips.   

  • Dropper vials 

  • Reconstitution is not required

  • Can be stored at room temperature for 10 months (or until expiration date when unopened).

Multi-Chemistry Controls

For use with CardioChek Plus, CardioChek PA*, and PTS Panels® test strips to estimate precision and to detect systematic analytical deviations of your test system.

*CardioChek PA requires the additional use of HDL Controls when using Lipid Panel, CHOL+HDL+GLU or CHOL+HDL test strips.

  • No reconstitution
